IDS Borjomi Georgia Continues to Provide Assistance to Needy Families Living in Borjomi
IDS Borjomi Georgia will give 100 GEL worth vouchers to the students of Borjomi Training Center and the company’s scholarship holders for purchasing food and basic essentials. The Company’s management will ensure the process of distributing the vouchers together with the administration of the training center and the Borjomi municipality mayor’s office in compliance with the existing recommendations.
Levan Bagdavadze, Vice President of IDS Borjomi Georgia:
“We, as a company with high social responsibility, in cooperation with the Office of the Business Ombudsman, will continue to provide assistance to various vulnerable groups. This time, we want to support 50 students from our Training Center. We have given them 100 GEL worth vouchers to buy basic essentials in one of the supermarkets”.
It should be noted that IDS Borjomi Georgia has allocated half a million GEL to fight against COVID-19. Out of this amount 300 thousand GEL was transferred to the StopCov Foundation, and 200 thousand GEL will be spent on providing drinking water to hospitals and quarantine zones, as well as food and basic essentials for elderly and socially unprotected people.
So far, the company has already been able to provide drinking water to 12 hospitals and various organizations throughout Georgia, as well as to help over 600 beneficiaries in Borjomi and Tbilisi with vouchers for food and basic essentials.
